About Astitva
A space created with the intention of offering something that moves beyond survival — towards existence.
Towards existence, not just survival
Astitva was created with the intention of offering a space that moves beyond survival — towards existence.
In a world that often asks you to be more, do more, and move faster, Astitva invites you to slow down, reconnect, and simply be.
It is a space for coexistence with yourself, your emotions, and your experiences — without any expectation to have it all figured out.
Your emotional safety is at the centre of how we work. We aim to create a space that feels warm, steady, and non-judgmental — where you can show up as you are, without pressure to perform, explain everything at once, or make immediate sense of what you're feeling.
At your pace, with care
You might be coming in with confusion, overwhelm, or experiences that feel difficult to put into words — and that's okay. You don't need to have everything figured out before you begin.
Trauma-Informed Care
Our work is rooted in trauma-informed principles — understanding that your past shapes your present, and approaching your story with sensitivity and respect.
Body-Based Awareness
We integrate somatic and body-based practices, helping you tune into the wisdom held in your body alongside exploring thoughts and emotions.
Creative Exploration
Art therapy and narrative approaches offer different pathways to understanding — particularly when words alone don't feel like enough.
"We focus on gently understanding your experiences, exploring patterns, and building awareness in a way that feels supportive and manageable."
Hello, I'm Vishwa.
I am a trauma-informed counselling psychologist and certified art therapist. My work is rooted in creating spaces where people feel safe enough to slow down, explore their inner world, and reconnect with themselves.
Astitva was born from a simple but deeply meaningful intention: to create a space where you do not have to perform, fix yourself, or have everything figured out before you begin. A space where you can be met with care, curiosity, and respect — just as you are.
In my work, I draw from trauma-informed care and integrate somatic and body-based practices, along with art and narrative approaches. This allows therapy to be flexible and collaborative, shaped around your unique experiences and needs.
I believe that healing does not happen in isolation. It happens in relationships where you feel seen, heard, and understood. While therapy may involve sitting with difficult emotions, I also believe there is room for moments of lightness and humour — making the process feel more human and approachable.
If you've been thinking about starting therapy but feel unsure, we can begin gently — one step and one conversation at a time. 🌻
